THOMAS M. WALKER
Thomas M. Walker was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he began buying his own clothes at the age of ten working as a paperboy. Thomas made $80 a week when minimum wage was only $1.80 an hour by taking on three paper routes in the morning (the Detroit Free Press) and three paper routes in the evening (the Detroit News). In 1979 he left high school and served in the Marines as a Military Policeman and Aviation Ordinance Technician. After 12 years in the military, Mr. Walker decided it was time to make a change and was honorably discharged.
Mr. Walker purchased his first home for $10,000 when its value was $80,000. He was only 20 years old at the time. It was no secret, even back then, that here was a man with dreams and aspirations for success. Thus, over time, he discovered real estate would be his key to obtaining wealth in a safe and secure manner. He also understood through real estate he would be minimizing his financial risks.

During this time Mr. Walker discovered and studied business credit over a 15-year period and was catapulted to the next level. He went from turning over 4 houses a year to 30-40 houses yearly. Currently, Mr. Walker has over 12 million dollars worth of real estate with an 8% LTV. To his credit, he has bought, built and sold over 400 homes in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan area. As a result of this success, Mr. Walker decided to put his talents to good use helping others achieve their financial goals through Business Credit Academy.
